Three seeds and a mouse

SCREEEEEECH!

ahh! i cringed at the bloodcurdling scream. i quickly looked over to Rob to make sure something hadn't come down and grabbed him. He was still standing on the flat rock i had placed him down on before, looking up to the sky, his eyes wide and scared, and his tail pointing strait up in alarm. "no, no it couldn't be that.... it wasn't supposed to be real.... Pop's couldn't have been right.... no no no no." the creature muttered, shaking its head and pacing on the rock. What could that sound have been? it didn't sound like any animal i had ever heard before. SCREEEEECH! the creature let out another earsplitting scream that make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. i jumped in surprise. this wasn't the hawk that i had seen earlier. this was something else. it sounded alien, evil, and definitely not human.

"No." Rob looked strait at me, his eyes filled with fear.

some unknown instinct for survival kicked in as i scooped up Rob exactly a second after he let out a terrified scream.

"RUNNNN!!!!"

i ran wildly into the woods,away from the wall, as fast as my legs could carry me.

The creature had found its target.

And we were the next victims.
