What I've Been Missing

Since Vanessa was 14, she had raised her little two year old sister on her own, never having time for herself. When her parents died, they had left her with a huge debt to pay for. Selfless as she is, she got a full scholarship to an academy she has been dying to go to. In order to attend she must bring her sister along. There, she meets two boys.

She meets Carlos, a rusty looking Spanish transfer on a scholarship like her who is also going to be living with her. She gives him a transformation in order for him to 'survive' in America.

Every night, she sings at a club to earn money to pay off the rent, her parent's debt and to raise her sister. One night, Zach, the schools' greatest player, sees her and recognizes her. When he finds out she goes to the same school as him, he was determined to take Vanessa's heart.

But to Vanessa, sometimes looks isn't everything. ♥
