Finn Hammond is an international ice hockey player for the Minnesota Wild's. Gorgeous, buff, rich and famous, Finn knows what he wants and when he wants it and will stop at nothing to get it. He lives a lifestyle filled with ice hockey, booze and stunning models and doesn't feel like settling down. Skye Simons is a typical college student. She's walked a hard path to get where she is and has a head full of memories she'd rather forget. She hates ice hockey and especially the ice hockey player, Finn Hammond, her friends keep squealing about. Following a series of unfortunate events (including a deal, a party, alcohol, dares and a bet) Skye finds herself stuck, for a month, with the stubborn and hard headed Finn Hammond. The first week already proved damaging - to both Skye and Finn, and Skye wonders if she should stay, despite the bet's loser terms. Being with Finn brings up a whole lot of problems she would like to never re-live again - some, which prove deadly.

Off Ice.

"I'd give it all up for you, Avery," Finn urges. His hands are gripping onto my cheeks and I don't know why I'm letting him get so close to me when I told myself I wouldn't let this happen. All I know is that I could cry at his touch. I miss him so much. "The job, the team, everything," he continues. I swallow the lump in my throat as my eyes dart between his. He seems so desperate and I want to sock myself in the jaw when I'm tempted to wipe the single tear that fell to his cheek. "Because I've seen what it's like to live without you. I know what it's like to see you with someone else, and nothing is worth that. Not even the NHL." The sequel to Ice.
