A short story about a young British soldier who has fortunately survived The Battle of Yorktown in 1781. He has been assigned to clear up after the battle as he is healthy enough to do so. In doing so he realizes the horrors of war and the impacts it has on himself and his country. This is only a short descriptive story and a historical fiction.All Rights Reserved
