When Lamia Sinclair dreamed of what she wanted to be when she grew up, it never involved slavery. At the age of seven, Lamia was taken by the Volturi, royalty of the vampire world. For years she served them growing colder and more distant from the other humans that were around her. She despises the Volturi and wants to escape but knows that trying to run is useless.
