"Pssh," I scoffed. "I've seen and been with better."
Wow, I did not think it would be so easy to lie through my teeth. Because, come on, you gotta be blind to not think he is one of the most gorgeous people you have ever seen. Plus, look at me...the most Ive been with is my fridge.
"Come on, Sweetcheeks, we both know you're lying." He started leaning closer to me over the console of the car.
His face stopped millimeters from my face. From this distance I could make out all the details of his face. I stared at his capturing brown eyes, perfect nose, and clear face. I could also make out a scar below his left eyebrow.
As I started to lean closer once my eyes landed on his lips, he smirked triumphantly and pulled back, "Told ya. Take a picture it'll last longer."

Meet Eva Morgan Brody. A bubbly, geeky, sarcastic teen. She is seventeen year old girl who does not take crap from anyone, not even a hot guy holding a gun. She is not afraid of anything but love. Eva has a bad history with love and trust. Her single mom and her best friend of 16 years are the only people in her life she can trust. A abandoning father, bad boyfriend, and crappy ex-friend are the cause of her trust issues.
Meet Grant Thomas Kingsley. An egotistical, sarcastic, secret softie, but all around badboy. He hates almost everyone in his life. He hates his mom for leaving and his dad for staying. The one person he loves is his six year old sister, Ellie. The only people he tolerates are his four best friends Tommie Stevenson, Joey Bacho, Brad Shin, and Conlee Edison. The bad boys that rule the school.
Eva is the good girl, Grant is the badboy. Must I say more?
She's rich, the perfect student, and graduating early.
He's a heathen, a heartbreaker, and well he may never graduate...
These all might be true, but with every fact, there is a detail to be explained. When people can be seen below the surface of their persona your whole view of them and their lives change. Axel thinks he's a hardass, huh? Well so does Victoria. So which one knows - How to Steal a Heart?

"I'm a mess," I shake my head, "Apparently a mess only you can see,"
"Only because I'm looking," He gestures to his eyes. "I see you, there's nothing wrong with seeing you."
I completely shift myself to look at Axel. I sat in front of him as he looked down at me. This is the Axel that has me wrapped around his finger. Not the fighter, not the bad boy. The compassionate, well-spoken, devoted, Axel Stone that is sitting in front of me.
So when the story comes out of my inevitable demise - know that it was Axel Stone's words that slain me. Not his persona or his larger-than-life muscles -even though those are very nice- it was the way he cared for me. The way he set a fire in my soul, a flame to my heart. The way he anchored me.
