Lilly has always lived in fear of the sacred jumping ceremony. Every year on July 10th all of the 16 year olds gather in the town square. They are sent on a run through the Arrogon forest. Arrogon has many dangers. Nobody knows exactly what, but every year a few kids die in there never to be seen again If you make it through the forest then you come upon a cliff. It's said to be the highest on earth. If you are granted wings, your survival instincts will kick in and the jump should bring them out. If not, then you die. Lilly was always very underdeveloped so she isn't expected to survive. She ends up being the first out of the forest, but she is terrified to actually jump. Will she fly or will she die?
