Tough Shift

Mink shifter Lauren Wheeler is banned from Pack activities when she refuses to return to the ring after a bad fight. She doesn't mind the banishment, until her skunk-shifter best friend is intentionally injured by the Pack Leader. She's accidentally attacked by her new neighbor, owl-shifter Spencer Tate, but begrudgingly offers to help him with his case-shutting down the illegal therian (shifter) fighting ring.

Spencer Tate isn't just a regular government agent; he works for NATA, the North American Therian Association. He's not in town just to break up an illegal fight club...he's there to investigate charges of therian trafficking. Spencer needs Lauren as an inside man on Pack activities, but in doing so he might be endangering her and her friends.
