Asuka: Island of Shadows

Hikairi is a young woman living in a private world. To her the only people who exist are her Grandmother, and her mysterious friend Satoru, who appears out of the forest to visit.

She believes her life is perfect, until it is shattered by a storm, and her friend, who is now on the run from the Senshi guards of the capitol city of Asuka. He and Hikairi escape to his village, where his friends once believed him to be dead, but before they can warn them of the Senshi guards trying to find their secret home, Hikairi is captured.

Afraid and alone, she befriends a guard, Tadashi, who then helps her and another prisoner to escape, and warn Satoru of danger.

Hikairi and her friends must find a way to save an underground society, escape capture, and decide where their hearts might lie.
