A girl ran hastily through a forest. Stumbling over roots and moving her arms in a rush trying to propel her self through the first. The thick canopy blocked the glimmering light of the full moon. Her breath came out ragged and you could tell she was gasping for breath. Her eyes were wide and frantic.Her eyes flickered to the side and she hesitantly looked behind her. All she saw, all she noticed was his sadistic smile forever carved into his face. Her body froze for a second but that was all he needed. His hand shot out wrapped around her throat, pulling her towards him he whispered into her ear,
"Your next." The man slowly brought up his left hand which held an already bloody knife. Lightly the man touched the falt side of the blade to get face, leading a trail of smeared criminson. The girls face started to go red from loss of oxygen. She fought and struggled against him, lagging her arms out against him, trying to kick him any where he seemed vulnerable, clearing at his arm and hand around her petite throat, nut to no avail. The man chuckled at her attempts as he brought up the knife high; a sliver of moon light caught the blade making it glisten; and he brought the knife down upon her. Her body spasamed and she reached out for any last hope. The man closed his eyes and listened to her fluttering heart and whispered to the night,
"Sweet dreams my love....."

My Teddy
The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. "CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. Blade's eyes turned cold. Like a dark colored ocean that just froze. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. 11/12/1952 Alright...so, today has been...uh...interesting to say the least. I was wandering around, fulfilling my usual quota of jack shit, I, like the sane lady I am, wandered into a back alley in a ghetto town full of thugs and known gang members, like the sane lady I am. Now usually this would just fine, despite the risk. Reason being, nothing usually happens in that part of town, its like a hallowed place, no evil, no death, no sin normally to speak of.....not today. Today, I was cornered. I was held at knife point in a back alley, fun right? Well.....for me it was. In fact, it was quite entertaining to watch that insufferable wretch choke on his own blood after I slit his throat with my beautiful blades, they're quite intricate. They have a dark wood grip with gold placement pins, stainless steel blade, and black steel rose pattern inlays on the flat of the blade....that little wretch should feel honored to meet the end of my blade! Although....I didn't really get to have my fun at first. He had the gall to grab me and attempt to cut me! He ruined my beautiful black suit! HE EVEN GRABBED MY HAIR! Calling it, "Interesting, unnatural, because of the black base with white ends." LIKE I DON'T KNOW ITS UNNATURAL! Either way, after that small misadventure I annihilated him thoroughly. If it were possible, Grants eyes go even blanker, as if the life had just left his body. It's a few seconds before his body collapses to his knees and then laggingly onto his face. The creature's slender, skeletal fingers drip with his blood, in its hand, a fresh, still desperately beating heart.
