The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. Tracie or as many people call her in the pack-Trace was a wondering cub found by the Alpha and other pack members when she was near the budding age of shifting. The problem? She smelled like a cub, her eyes shifted to a golden yellow like one near shifting- but the fang marks on her neck marked her as one of darkness now. A cub is a cub, so she was taken in- however the threat that if she ever turned on her own kind remained that she would be executed. She didn't die from the bite, so everyone assumed she had been claimed as a cub by the vampires; meaning she could only shift once vampire her master let her. She was a lone wolf, a stray that couldn't shift- but she might as well be a human hiding in a pack. A very dangerous human that could turn rabid at any moment at her master's call.Complete
