17 year old Alaska finds herself stuck in the apocalypse with 3 year old Poppy and aunt Rae. The stakes are high as the zombies become more advanced and a tragedy in the group turns the events around when they're left to fend for themselves. When shady and impulsive characters are threatening Alaska and Poppy's safety she is forced to ask the question she never wanted to consider: Will she and Poppy survive, or will the apocalypse be the end of them?
