What started out as a simple fifty- thousand dollars to save her best friend Davey from swimming with the fishes turned into a fight against unseen forces and time that are out to kill her and take her fortune. A big hand waved in front of my face catching my attention, flinching back I realized I hadn't been listening to a word he was said.
"Hello are you listening?!" He seethed in a thick Italian accent that I just realized was there.
"Uh yeah no.. l-look like I said I'm sorry but I have to get going."
The little bit of weed brownie I ate before Leaving out of the house was kicking in and I needed to get away from this guy he was seriously about to kill my high. As I started to walk away a strong hand gripped my arm and held me in place. Sheer terror ran through my body every scary scenario ran through my head. Maybe he would rape me? Cut me into a million pieces? Feed me to his dogs while he watches and combs his gorgeous hair?
Before I could scream he shoved my phone into my hand and gave me a dead panned look like "Bitch nobody wants you here is your phone now watch you fucking step."
"O-oh Thanks."
With a huff and an eye roll he walked off.

Finally making it to Davey's I brushed off my weird encounter with the man on the street. "Not like I'll see him again who cares if I embarrassed myself." I snorted out.
