The all grown up Tatsumi had all he can ask. His village was safe and under his protection, he had a wonderful yet wild lover and wife, Esdeath, and a son and daughter. He had all he can want, even with a rebellious daughter. But that all goes down when his village is attacked and his daughter was taken. The enemy who are well known and from the past comes and takes one of the most important things to Tatsumi and Esdeath.

But the enemy is not alone, because somehow they had found a way to bring back the dead to life...Tatsumi, Esdeath, and Akame are in the fight of their life against the undead group of Night Raid and the Jaegers in the very same location of where they were all killed...
