An experiment gone wrong.... Thirteen children were kidnapped for an experiment ten years ago. These children were given dozens of treatments in order to make them "superhuman." The experiment went wrong after the children became too strong. When society found out, the children were named The Stolen Souls. They were part of an experiment that ripped their souls and lives right from their hearts. An experiment that would leave the children a danger to society forever. Or will the society be a danger to the children? Ayla Browner never would have guessed her life was a big lie. As far as she knew, she was a normal teenage girl with normal teenage problems. Not a teenage girl who has to deal with the aftermath of a drastic experiment. A stormy night lead many dangers to Ayla's life. Unfortunately, she was home alone and completely confused when strangers entered her home. The strangers tell Ayla that she is their secret weapon in finding the last Stolen Soul. If they find it, she will be free. If they don't... we'll just wait on that. All she has to do now is walk through the portal into their world.... Ayla's task leads her to many new adventures and strange people. She will encounter a mysterious thief, rude kidnappers, a discourteous princess, and death itself. One Soul remains. Everyone wants the Soul dead, but Ayla needs it to live. This is the journey to find the last Stolen Soul, and possibly uncover how the Souls were stolen in the first place. Hope Flynn used to love water. She never realized the power of water, or the strength of it until the accident. Now Hope knows just how dangerous water can be. Juliet Price has attended Redwood High since the beginning of sophomore year, but she's never spoken to Hope, Juliet doesn't fit in with her classmates as she wasn't born rich and she didn't grow up getting everything she wanted. The only reason Juliet is at the exclusive private school is because she's living with her wealthy aunt and uncle. Juliet knows what happened to Eleanor Flynn, most of the world does. The Flynn family are very wealthy and very famous. Even though Juliet and Hope have never spoken, Juliet can tell that Hope is acting weird and she doesn't think it's entirely because Eleanor is dead. When Juliet and Hope are brought together through a class project, Juliet starts to realize that Hope won't be able to start moving on unless she finds out what happened the night her sister died, and why she can't remember it. When the two start investigating, they realize that the truth is pointing to something dark. Almost everyone attending Redwood has secrets, and they'll do what it takes to keep them private. When the truth starts to come out, Hope is left to wonder if she remembers the dreadful night and finds out she had something to do with it, will she ever forgive herself?
