An experiment gone wrong.... Thirteen children were kidnapped for an experiment ten years ago. These children were given dozens of treatments in order to make them "superhuman." The experiment went wrong after the children became too strong. When society found out, the children were named The Stolen Souls. They were part of an experiment that ripped their souls and lives right from their hearts. An experiment that would leave the children a danger to society forever. Or will the society be a danger to the children? Ayla Browner never would have guessed her life was a big lie. As far as she knew, she was a normal teenage girl with normal teenage problems. Not a teenage girl who has to deal with the aftermath of a drastic experiment. A stormy night lead many dangers to Ayla's life. Unfortunately, she was home alone and completely confused when strangers entered her home. The strangers tell Ayla that she is their secret weapon in finding the last Stolen Soul. If they find it, she will be free. If they don't... we'll just wait on that. All she has to do now is walk through the portal into their world.... Ayla's task leads her to many new adventures and strange people. She will encounter a mysterious thief, rude kidnappers, a discourteous princess, and death itself. One Soul remains. Everyone wants the Soul dead, but Ayla needs it to live. This is the journey to find the last Stolen Soul, and possibly uncover how the Souls were stolen in the first place. Teaser Lines: "Shut up, you're probably scaring her." "Like she isn't scared already." "Um, sir, your car is on fire." "She's not staying." "That's not your decision." "No matter what you choose, she's going to die. This is all about whether you're going to live or not." Started: 11-11-17 Ended: Cover by me! (Photo from Pinterest)

"You think I don't want you?" He snarled, his bulky arms creating a cage around me, preventing me from moving an inch. His chest pressed tightly to mine and I could feel it move with his rabid breathing. "Darling, you could never be more wrong." A cool hand worked it's way up to my neck and with gentle insistence, had me tilt it so he had a clear view of my throat. "Do you know how hard it is not to sink my fangs into you right here, right now and stake my claim?" He murmered, cool breath hitting the tender flesh as he ran his nose along the column of my throat, breathing in my scent. "Make sure no one takes what's mine." *** Pet: The bonded human companion to a vampire and their main source of blood. It's a title Eden Hemmings knows she shouldn't want. Vampires may look human and act human but they aren't. Possessing a dual nature and ungodly good looks, they are the definition of dangerous. Not to mention gifted with abilities humans could only imagine. Predators wrapped up in pretty packaging. But with her brother away from home and stuck dealing with their over controlling mother, Eden just wants to escape. To be free to do her own thing. When a letter to the elusive Rigryce Academy comes in the mail, it has to be fate. Right? Being a pet isn't that easy, however. They are a reflection of their master and as such, must have an extensive knowledge of politics and social etiquette. Anything less than perfect is unacceptable. A challenge for a girl that has trouble just looking her vampire classmates in the eyes. She'll have to get over it if she wants to impress them in the hopes of getting chosen. Being weak won't work and the last thing she needs is to be sent home. Maybe the intimidating vampire she keeps finding will help? ***There are some MM scenes. I have notated them at the beginning of the chapters. Cover by @PollyHere
