Léopold Montagne is an urbane and cunning young real estate magnate who has grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of city life in Revès. When he purchases ownership of a small pastoral county in southern Fallet, intent on gentrifying the community into a business hub, he finds himself placed squarely in the middle of an international conflict. Standing on the precipice of war, Léopold must choose to act as the man he truly is or the man he pretends to be.
