Every October, the small town of Willowbrook hosts a fall fair that's been a tradition for over a century. This year, however, there are rumors that it will be the last one-the land where it's held is being sold. A group of friends decides to make the most of it, spending the weekend soaking in the fair's charm: hayrides, caramel apples, pumpkin carving contests, and the haunted corn maze.
But when they stumble upon an old journal hidden inside one of the barns, they discover clues about a secret connected to the town's founding-something the fair was originally meant to protect. As the leaves keep falling and the fair counts down to its closing night, the friends must solve the mystery before the fair (and the secret it guards) disappears forever.
