This is a story of a girl who grew up with wonderful parents and a older sister, Max and wonderful neighborhood friends and girlfriend, they all grew up together. At age 15 she got in a plate crash she survived but she doesn't remember anything in her life, and her family is dead. Her uncle Simon made her life. At 17, He friends puts her in a home with her old friends and girlfriend to make her remember but all she knows that she was put in a house filled with strangers to build innocent friendship and a youtube channel. A nuclear war destroyed earth about a 100 years ago. The rest of the human race were sent into space in different space stations. As the years went by the stations decided to come together and call themselves the ark. Due to the limited resources people could only have one child and were given small portions of rations. Even the petty crimes were sentenced to death unless you were under eighteen. Then you'd be locked in a solitary cell. The plan was to wait a 100 years until going back to earth to check if it was survivable. However, the ark was quickly running out of air causing them to send 100 children prisoners to the ground.

Life for Flame had never been easy- from the terrible past that haunted the young beauty's dreams, to the grounders that wanted nothing more than to have an arrow fly through her heart, she had a lot on her plate. Anymore, and she was sure that she would explode. And then, just her luck, a tin can full of teenagers hits the ground at an alarming speed, smack bang in the middle of grounder territory. With the overwhelming urge to help everybody in need, she takes all 100 of the delinquents under her wing, teaching them the 'do's and the 'don't's of the earth. Her plan was to be in and out, to leave as soon as they knew how to survive the cruel and unforgiving planet that they had landed on, but as she finds herself getting attached to these juveniles, she drags herself into even more danger.
