I started this back in November, and I only just finished the weekend of New Year's Eve. I'm fully aware of the public domain bit, but what I made here was my own thing. Hope I clarified it all. Anyways, I've made the fanfic as a tribute to the 100th year of Disney, and I basically finished it right before 2024. It has been 25 years since the 2nd rebellion, 26 years since the capital regained power with a surprise attack. With the 100th anniversary of the Hunger Games coming up president Hail has a very game changing twist for the 4th Quarter Quell. The 4th quarter quell has arrived and the Capitol is getting sick of the uprisings in the districts. Using their new and highly advanced technology they set up the most horrid hunger games yet. Like the 2nd quarter quell there will be twice as many tributes. Half one girl and one boy from each district. The other half, one girl and one boy from each district revived from the dead tributes of previous years. The dead tributes are reaped and pulled out of their slumber. Fern lives with her Aunt in district 7 living as average of a life you can in the districts. When Fern gets reaped there's no hope, or so she thinks.
