However, based on her older sisters' reactions when she asked, she never figured that it was good. Fifteen is the first year of the Choosing, and Blaire doesn't know what to think of it, at first. However, after she is Chosen as one of the fifty-two to compete for the Prince's hand, she finds out just how gruesome it can all be... away from the camera. We have always lived in the woods. Gathering materials, foods, and other necessity so that we may survive each night. We hide from the Giants that stop through the forest, trying to devour us, the last surviving clan of the forest. But we have to stay and wait for our sign to leave.
