This is the Story of Camila Strand-Reyes the adopted daughter of Tk Strand and Carlos Reyes

When thirteen-year-old Malik Carter transfers to Westbrook Middle School, he quickly notices something strange on the school map: a classroom labeled Room 126. The problem is, every teacher he asks gives the same answer-there is no Room 126. But Malik has seen it. He passed it. And once. It looked like someone was standing inside, watching him. As Malik starts digging deeper, he teams up with two classmates: Ava, a tech-savvy rule breaker, and Jonah, the quiet kid who seems to know more about the school's history than he should. Together, they discover that students who get too close to the mystery of Room 126 begin to forget small things-homework... conversations... even entire classmates. The deeper they investigate, the more the school seems to push back. Hallways feel longer. Maps start changing. Teachers deny things they said minutes ago. And every clue leads back to one question: Why does everyone agree something doesn't exist... except the people who remember it?

Background: Doug Kendall is a Case manager, Evan Buckley's parents and Daniel are nice but they died in a car crash on the way back from 10-year-old Evan Buckley's Soccer game. Maddie Buckely is mean and hurts Evan. Maddie thinks Doug Kendall is in love with her, but he is only there to save Evan Buckley. Doug Kendall gets Evan out and takes him to Austin Texas, where he gives him to the Reyes Family who are good friends of his. The Reyes treat Evan like their own son Carlos. Carlos and Evan become close, but Evan is still really shy.
