This is fairly honest. It's my personal experience with having an autistic brother.

Everybody knows that one girl. The girl that loiters around campus. The girl who always has a smile on her face. Behind that smile is regret...and words that never slipped the mouth. Those unspoken words are what saddens her every day. If she could've just said them...how would've things turned out?

This is the contest for 13 reasons why. these are 13 different people who have influenced my life.

This is a very personal story for the 13 reasons why contest. This is my biggest What if. It's not meant to be a sob story,but a story of hope and healing. Please be thoughtful as every word is true and actually happened to me.

The story of a teenage girl who fell in love. Then, he slipped away.....

A story about regretful choices and unfulfilled wishes. Based off of true events.

One day...a mysterious post is made. All there is on it is an audio recording. No one knows how it got there, why it was posted, or even who posted it. But over the course of the one hour it stayed posted, many people had brought themselves to listen to the audio. ...and ended up in tears, just from hearing who was on the audio. After the hour ended, the post was removed. But not before everyone knew about it and heard it at least once. Can you guess who was talking on the audio? I probably could...but I'm not telling who it is on the audio. (Note: Topics such as suicide are a big deal for me, as they might be for anyone that comes across it. While this entry does have slight mentions of these topics, the purpose of this story is made clear.) (The point?: When you think all hope seems lost, it really isn't. There will always be someone to help you back away from the ledge.) (If requested, this story might be expanded to show what else happened in the events involving the audio recording. This story just contains the audio recording, in written story form.)

This is one of the many things I wish I could go back and change.

#13ReasonsWhyContest I like to joke that if I could ever go back in time to redo a moment or give advice to my younger self, I'd definitely be more careful in not hitting the wrong button for an answer on Trivia Crack that made me lose the game. I like to joke instead of acknowledge that I'd really like to go back and tell the first kid to ever hold my hand that I really didn't mind instead of never being able to tell him ever again. This is my story of how I would have gone back to receive at least a small amount of closure before the person who I'd known all my life died.
