This story takes place the 5th of March, 1770. Annabeth, a young girl living in the year 1770 witnesses the horrors of the The Boston Massacre. When her family discuss the events of the day they find they have different view points about what happened. Join Annabeth on this emotional journey full of political dispute, family controversy, and a bubbling revolution. The words which Gabriel had spat like acid at me echoed in my head. "Who do you think you are?" He truly wondered who I thought I was. And at this point, I wasn't sure I knew anymore. I never thought I could be this afraid of something. There were plenty of moments in my life when I was afraid, but this was a different kind of afraid; the world was crashing down around me kind of afraid. All that was left was myself, crying on the floor. In that moment my thought process was insane; half of my brain was trying to understand all that had happened, while the other half was panicking and attempting to figure what to do next. I finally breathed and went over my situation: my husband had left with my baby, leaving me-a jobless, disrespected woman, in the home we were being evicted out of.
