Also based on the fictional events and dialogue found in I, Eliza Hamilton and My Dear Hamilton, two books by authors who have done way more research and have way more respect then I ever will. HAMILTON

Lafayette is a young Major General in the Continental Army fighting for American freedom from Great Britain. His father was killed by the British when he was only two years old. Hellbent on avenging his father as well as securing freedom for the Americans, the young Marquis finds himself working side-by-side with General George Washington, with whom he greatly admires. Despite his young age, Lafayette proves to be a very capable leader in battle and soon becomes one of Washington's closest confidants. Amidst all out war, their friendship grows into something much more. They must keep their relationship at a distance and develop a complicated system of correspondence while away from each other. It isn't easy and often causes strain in their relationship. Despite this, their fiery love for one another prevails.

This takes place in 2020 but there's no COVID-19 and the other psychotic stuff that's happening. Laurens and Alexander are in college (along with their other friends) and Laurens has depression (not doing this to be quirky, doing this bc I don't feel like talking to people about my problems so I'm gonna give them to him Also, they don't know each other in the beginning. Anyways, this is a Lams fanfic because I'm at that part of my Hamilton phase.

An enemies to lovers story about Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. Loosely based on Hamilton (the musical) but airing on the side of ignorance towards most of the plot. Will have smut but in the way Colleen Hoover would've written a rough draft for her first book. Idk how long this will be but I am aiming for slow burn. 1776 is an incredible musical about the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the movie based on it came out in 1972. This means the fandom is pretty slim. Still, it's something I adore, and if there's not a lot of content, you should make it yourself! Hamilton fans: you might like this, or you might hate it.
