The Battle of Germantown, on October 4th, 1777, was a devastating defeat for the Continental Army. But some heroics of the battle were not recorded publicly, lost in the whirlwinds of war and the chaos of a miserable campaign. Yet this childhood friend will become his bodyguard who will be teaching Mingze how to behave and make good decisions in which Mingze will not make easy for him, he'll just tease and flirt with the said bodyguard, who indeed remembers Mingze from their childhood which reawakens locked away feelings and a forbidden bond that could potentially wage war between the Ancient Vampire Aristocracy and the Crown of Humankind. Unless he and his family and friends can figure out a solution, fate will have to be accepted.

This is an expansion of the backstory of my steampunk automaton OC, Sinewave Londinium. This story tells of the existential journey of Sinewave Londinium, an automaton who didn't even start out as such, but who ended up transcending more than just the technical limitations expected of her.
