Young boys sneaking drinks off of the trays that revolved around the room. The girls who had just been part of that year's debutante ball, being introduced to some old unmarried man with a large fortune, or young men with no idea how to talk to a person of the female gender. There was one of the gentlemen who wasn't dancing, he moved with a drunken swagger, but his eyes were sober. She felt her stomach drop as he came nearer to her, and she took a deep inhale. He wasn't anyone she recognized, and maybe he was heading towards someone else with such determination written all over his face. He came to stop in front of her and smiled. "I don't believe we've had the chance to be introduced." Lorena dipped her chin in acknowledgement, "I am Aaron Ryder, and you are?"
