After the death of Mary's father, the family packs up and moves from Maine to Ontario, Canada. The new house they move into is quite the odd one. It's pretty old and it has many mysteries to it. On the day they're unpacking, a hidden porcelain box is dropped, releasing all the ghosts trapped inside, out. A lot of it is true. It is up to you, the discerning reader, to distinguish fact from fabrication. I think it only right to apologise to Mr.Robinson, Mr.Malloy and Miss Cottam, my former History teachers, who would undoubtedly squirm at the version of Furness' past espoused in this tale.
