It was 1961 in Germany, The Communist Government have decided to build a wall between the country dividing the country into East and West. This wall separated East and West Berlin. This was the perfect symbol of the Iron Curtain which separated the democratic western countries and the communist countries of Eastern Europe throughout the Cold War. Elias lives with his family on the west side of the wall and Ada lives on the east side with her family. Ada's grandparents live on the west side and she is desperate to see them, Elias has just turned eighteen and is starting his first day with the Royal German Army, Elia's Brothers got stuck on the other side of the wall and as he has joined the army he hopes to find his brothers and bring them back to the west . Will Ada ever get to see her grandparents again? Will Elias get to bring his brothers home to the west?

I do like movies placed in the 50s or 60s ( and well, I think I should have enjoyed living in that time ). One of my fave movies , though it's not a very well known one, is Shag.
