Roger is a widow of his now passed husbad, having only spent a few days without the love of his life, He feels as Though he is not alone. He will soon find Out why he feels this way.

James is a brilliant but awkward guitar player in a popular local band who prefers to hide from the spotlight, content to lose himself in his playing and shying away from friendships and emotional attachments. An accidental run in with a mystery girl inspires him to reach out to her through anonymous texts. Too scared that she will be disappointed in the real him, he wants her to fall for him before she can figure out his true identity. Help from a sudden and unexpected friendship pushes him far beyond his comfort zone, but will it be too little too late? While some of this story is fictionalized, parts of it are very real, including the character of James. Our story took a different route, but this is the ending I wish it had. She was young when she first saw him. He was a figure of authority in her eyes but at the same time, she couldn't face calling him señor Kortajarena. It just sounded ridiculous. It made him seem older. She preferred calling him by a nickname just as he never used her name either. Everything was simple and clear then, but as she grows older, things start to change. He isn't of any authority to her anymore, she's not a child. As he begins to notice that, their sibling-like friendship stops making any sense. Does she still need him to look out for her? Is his modelling career getting in the way? Will they do anything to save that close relationship without making it complicated? Ps. This is NOT about some student that falls for her teacher... an age gap is involved, but the story is... different. I suck at writing descriptions, but please, give the story a chance. <3
