Taylor said herself that "These songs were once about my life. They are now about yours." She wrote this album for us seeing as we've never related to Taylor more than now. She wanted to write songs documenting our life between the time of birth and death. She wanted to write about how change is sometimes needed in our life. She wanted to change her music and she did it impeccably. She learned that there is no "happily ever after" in life, but that some emotions overrule others which makes the pain tolerable. When fifteen-year-old Veronica goes to the Eras Tour on June 17th in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift plays Seven as a surprise song. It's not long before news gets back to her that a certain set of the lyrics are true for Veronica and that her home situation is really bad. The Swifties who saw Veronica's post about crying during the song all try to help her meet Taylor in some way. Fate takes matters into its own hands when Veronica quite literally runs into Taylor on the streets of Pittsburgh the next day. They have an instant connection and Taylor offers to buy her lunch and just get to know her. After a long conversation, Veronica ends up being fostered by Taylor until the adoption process goes through after CPS arrests her father for child abuse. Adopting a teenager in the middle of a huge tour that just released global dates is not exactly what Taylor had in mind but it quickly becomes apparent how much both women needed each other. Now that she's safely away from her father, Veronica finally has the chance to discover who she is beyond her old reputation back in Pittsburgh as the quiet girl who always had horrible bruises and scars everywhere.
