Carlos Da Vale is an immortal seer meaning he can see into the future or predict what's gonna happen next. He was married to Walter De Ville who is an ancient vampire. An incident that happened that made Carlos leave and while on the run, he finds out he's pregnant with Walter's baby. He was homeless and pregnant when he ran into Evie Jackson who takes him in and lives with her and got to know her best friend Grace. Carlos had the baby which is a girl and Evie doesn't know about his past or the fact that his baby's father is a vampire or he himself is an immortal seer at all. Until Evie took a DNA test and finds out she has a long lost cousin named Oliver Alexander who invites her to a lavish wedding and she takes Carlos and Mallory with her... (Carlos ran away 10 years ago. He lived on the streets for 2 years before Evie took him and it was also around the same time he found out he was pregnant with his daughter, Mallory. This started as an entry for the Open Novella Contest, 2022. Unfortunately, I was having some medical difficulties (which I won't bore you with) and felt I needed to drop out after the first deadline. Shortly after taking up the story again, I realized that I was writing the same characters as those in my previous entry (ONC 2020), Thirteen Points of Light. So I did some quick editing and continued the story of Sarah and her box of magic matches. I'm trying really hard to make this a stand-alone story, but because I know the original story so well, I'm not entirely sure this one stands by itself. If you haven't yet, you may want to start with Thirteen Points and read them together as a single story. The story (this time around): Jared and Crystal's relationship is getting rocky. A big move to london for megs to start at her favourite football club. Chelsea. She's moved away from all family and friends to start fresh and live out her dreams.
