My interpretation of Hans Landa in his youth. It doesn't have much to do with "The Inglorious Basterds" though, maybe by the end. Im too lazy to do historical research so most of the things here are fictional and I came up with them. Liza, young art passionate, comes to Paris in 1920s to study journalism. One time, while doing reaserch for her work, she found out about a secret conspiracy against the president so she started an investigation. During her studies, she met a young Austrian man named Hans Landa, who had been sent to Paris by his father to study politics, but he was not interested in that at all and got into a secret group killing oppositionists for money instead. They both did everything to not reveal their secrets to each other in order to keep their relations normal, not knowing that the answers they were looking for were right in front of them.

Freya is a caged bird, unable to live a life she wants. Thomas Shelby holds the key to her freedom. Trigger Warning: story contains violence and mention and use of drugs.

It's in the 20's-because who doesn't think Lafayette would look hot in a tux and top-hat??-and John Laurens is a young detective and the best in the NY state. He is investigating a crime within Manhattan. Some deaths with no apparent sign of how it happened. All of the victims were found within a certain part of Manhattan and with a marking upon their chests. Laurens is confident in his skill. He can't possibly loose. He is in for a surprise...and he might find even more than he was looking for. Just in case you wondered it's mature for language, violent actions, and triggers.

"Are they watching us?" "The one fella is." Felix presses his lips together. But he knows we can't leave. We need the gas. Felix has a back-up can of it stowed somewhere but that's for emergencies. Is this a real emergency? One of the other fellas hops out. Before the door slams I notice what his still-seated friend is holding. A tommy gun. My skin prickles. Felix pales. We're just playing at bootlegging now. But those folks are the real deal-complete with hired guns to protect their hooch. Felix's hand moves to the starter and I knock it away. The one in the fedora has seen us. He casually makes his way over and I know our story isn't good enough; this guy will notice we snooped even when we didn't mean to and we'll be in some sort of a mess. So I ditch our story. I throw myself at Felix and kiss him as thoroughly as I know how.
