2100 Stories

How will our world look like in 2100? Can you imagine? I tried it. Am I pessimistic? Or am I realistic? You wanna share your ideas? Please leave it in the comments. That's the first time I'm posting English stuff. So excited ♡.♡ That's a story I have written for my regularly english lesson. The task was : "Write a one to two pages text which describes our world in the year 2100. You can choose between - a non-fictional text - a fictional text" Hope you enjoy it.

Amy is a fifteen year old who lives in the 2100's. Amy was raised in an orphanage, by friendly robots. She has a sister named Taylor. The world around Amy is corrupt, while the rich live in luxury, Amy lives in a tall building on 5th street with all the other orphans and a bunch of mice. the Earth. Her life is filled with grime, and mud. This is Amy's story.

One Chapter/ Science Fiction This is a generic 'in a world' book. Except it is not as generic as all the other ones. This is what happens when it is the 22nd century with futuristic science and technology and everything else that could go wrong. Except in this 'in a world' no one wants to help.

Authors' Note: These are the tales of heroes of our future; people trying to solve the problems that we are creating today. We are depleting the world's resources, putting our waste wherever we can craft a political story to justify it. We throw people out on the streets because they weren't given the right circumstances to learn how to survive in this systematic wasteland that we are building. We are all working towards an artificial, manufactured version of a goal we call success and don't care to think of its effects. These issues are happening now, not twenty years from now, and the way we deal with these issues will affect our immediate future. As said by Lao Tzu, "Those who know do not speak. Those who speak do not know." Our society is so dysfunctional that some people have lost their will to eat, sleep, and in extreme cases, live. This special few have been driven into depression because they know not which way to go. They panic and are driven into seclusion because they know something is wrong but they don't know how to solve it. We "try" to work against these horrible things, like "climate change" and waste, by villainizing them. We "try" to fix the problems using "public campaigning," but we are the source of these problems, and we keep making excuses and blaming others for our own terrible mistakes. We need to change, not the problems. The true villain is ourselves. Those who consider themselves "pro-environmental" still travel the world in fossil-fueled planes eating meat and dairy out of plastic containers. We need to channel our tax dollars into creating more alternatives so people are not coerced into using harmful chemicals and tools by the inevitable need to rush through life. And the reason we tell ourselves we do these things is that they help us get stuff done faster, so we have more time. But time is running out. -The Hidden JEMS

It speaks about a teenage who lives in the future, he incidentally find a code that was previously programmed by one of the teachers, for experimental purposes. He add his own programming in to, to make it more valuable, but things unfortunately goes wrong as he start to take control over all robots around his city to kill human beings.

When the epidemic slightly declined the government divided the people into two groups, the Suffocators who are carries of the disease and the Breathers who are immune. Rosa is being held in one of the "Houses" created for all those presumed to be Suffocators. They get tested at age nineteen when the virus is first be detected. Rosa and her best friend Haley will learn just how divided their world is and what secrets it has to hide.
