Scared, I was running for my life. I had to get out of here. The trackers would catch me if I stopped to rest, even for a second. My calf muscles were burning, but I had bigger problems on my mind. I tried to mask my scent so it would be harder to find me, but trying to do that only cost me valuable time I could have spent running. That lost time is the reason I almost got caught.
