The People We Were is a story about who they were together: two souls whose heartlines crossed just long enough to change everything. Their love was a storm and a sanctuary all at once: bold, bright, and too beautiful to ever fade. So life cut it short instead. They didn't break. They didn't walk away. They simply left the world together... and what remains is the memory of who they were, living on in the spaces they once filled, a tale of longing, of the selves they grew into and the ones they left behind, of a love that never truly ended. made by sugaluvsctrl!! This is a collaboration piece between me and Tupac Shakur. Tupac is my favorite rapper of all time. I thought it would be really cool if I Took some lyrics from one of his songs, and meshed them into my poem with my own words. In the poem we go back to back as if we were actually on the song together, or writing together. The song that chose his lyrics from is, letter to my unborn child... Please vote, share, and comment your honest feedback.... thanks @Ducebitten

When it comes to the 90s and 00's throwbacks, it's all about the tv shows, music videos, movies, slow jam, the gangsta rap, bopping your head to the hip-hop beat, the fashion, the cars, the celebrity crushes, the heartthrobs, the America's sweethearts, singing along to your one of favorite singers tunes, every girls favorite members from a Pop or R&B boy bands, the music royalty and of course getting back that nostalgic feels. With that kind of feeling, comes the "would've been", the "what ifs", the "the one that got away" and especially the "he/she should've gotten with instead of this person", and plus everyone knows that you can never forget your first love or at least the-love-of-your-life or maybe even your destiny. What if after 90s & 00s artists like Tupac Shakur, Selena Quintanilla, Biggie, Aaliyah and Left Eye were still alive and not only do their career gotten set off, having them to become a really huge name such as their other peers like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Jodeci, TLC, Usher, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Ciara, etc. but they also got back both the old and new hookup rumors, beefs and friendships once they collaborate with each other on a song or on screen? Speaking of old and new hookup rumors, what happens when duos like Tupac and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Biggie and Faith, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, Aaliyah and Jodeci, do music together, it causes fans and the media to think there could actually be a thing between them like romantically when really it's just platonic or maybe just a little bit of both?

" .. Im a sucker for love " ---------- She was the East Coast's IT girl-untouchable, unforgettable, the vixen every artist wanted beside him in their music video. Desired by many, claimed by none, she mastered the art of being seen without ever being held. Love, to her, was something other people chased. That belief cracks the night she meets the Tupac Shakur. In a room full of noise, fame, and ego, their connection is immediate and undeniable. Tupac doesn't just see her image-he sees her layers. And for the first time, she meets a man who doesn't try to own her fire, only understands it. What unfolds is a passionate, complicated love shaped by ambition, fame, insecurity, and timing. They hurt each other. They lose each other. And still, they keep returning-because love has a way of asking us to do things we swore we never would. Do For Love becomes a question and a challenge: how far can two people go for love when the world is pulling them apart?
