Warning: References TMNT: FF episode "DNA is Thicker than Water" and speculates as to why 'the Scorpion story' was relayed to Dark Leo when Leonardo despised it so. (Actually, many animal pairs could have been used in that fable. The African Proverb is directly from a TMNT_Tuesday prompt). Pairing: Memories, Dark Turtles and hidden messages. But, this fic was based on the Fast Forward episode and just some basic internet research for that. Dark Turtles seem to have fandom opinion that they should have been followed up a tad better. Stephen Dunn really did discover many species of frogs maybe even the one displayed above. Although their eggs are laid among the leaves, the newly hatched larvae are carried on the backs of the parents to a pool of water or water-filled bromeliad. The female then feeds unfertilized eggs to the tadpoles to keep them from turning on each other in the carnivorous stage of tadpole growth. Darius Dunn, Cody Jones, The Dark Turtles, Splinter and the original TMNT of course belong to Viacom who let Toonzai take TMNT off the Saturday morning line up... the bastards!
