I was tagged to enter the #31creepywords contest, so here's my entry.

Life's most exquisite moments remain locked in the darkness.. Until now. This is a collection of short stories and flash fiction, typically around 500-750 words each. Nothing too unusual, except they are crafted by an author known for her 8K word chapters and rich, evocative descriptions. Words are not limitless, and each one means something. Flash fiction forces an author to prove the theory true. Some of these stories are written in first person and autobiographical in many ways. Others are responses to writing prompts, challenges, contests, and other assorted things to flex the creative muscle and move from the realm of dark fantasy, epic sagas, and intense emotion to a place more realistic. Some will likely make you blush deeply, and that's alright too. A few chapters are longer pieces: character development exercises, deleted chapters, or are stories told by pre-existing characters--so if you read my stories, beware of spoilers. My work tends to walk on the dark side, so there will likely be mature content. It's rebellious and doesn't listen well. It likes sex, drugs, rock n' roll, blood, and demonic possession. It thinks it's succeeded if it breaks your heart. Art is a cruel mistress. This is not anything written to win awards, recognition, or impress anyone. It is simply a diary left unlocked, understated musings of a writer with a dark but beautiful mind. All that's needed now is a quill, a jar of ink, and the romance of candlelight..and you. Christopher Reed wanted to start a new life in Leavenworth, away from people, hoping to escape the grief of losing his wife Janice in a terrible car accident. The charming cottage he bought with the most alluring garden was perched on a plain near the woods. It was meant to be his escape. As soon as he stepped into the house, he became aware of a chilling presence. Strange things that start happening make him second guess his decision of moving to Leavenworth. #31 Creepy words She is desperate, alone, scared and dying.

A collection of short stories for devils and darlings in weird towns and odd places. CONTENTS: 1. Bodies, Bones, and Blotched Hearts (Rated: M) A girl contracts the Devil and is sentenced to live in a never-ending, underground rave. 2. County News 3. Would Be King A werewolf Alpha is usurped by his younger sister, and not even death can stop his revenge. 4. Sunsets and Cigarettes An ex-anarchist, a kleptomaniac, and a three-legged dog meet up at the end of the world. 5. Case File: #667366 An FBI file on yours truly. 6. Nomenclature (Rated: M) A drunk, suicidal teenager is lured into a game of life and death by his previous self on the eve of his nineteenth birthday. (Now optioned for TV by @TNT network.) 7. Parasite (#100WordScream) It's alive. 8. When The World Empties A bereft girl street races. 9. #31creepywords A series of horror stories told in no more than thirty-one words. 10. The Unmanned Mission A team of astronauts crashland on a red plane, but no one back on Earth knows they're missing. This is a challenge that was started by @rosaimee to write a hauntingly spooky story in only 31 words.

A collection of just about anything creative that my wickedly wonderful imagination can concoct in my mind infected with insanity. If you can't tell already, every one of these stories inside will contain horror and thriller. Take a peek inside the library that serves as my writing cavity which takes up more than half of my brain.

A collection of tales featuring monsters and angels, though not all appear as they truly are. Includes the story Strawberry Pickers ... There were monsters in cages on the lowest floor of the Genieworks building. Other monsters held the keys. Lina was grateful to have a job as one of the strawberry pickers, to see the sun from the sky roofs and to sometimes eat berries that were subpar. When the salary from one job was not enough, though, she had to take a second one-cleaning the laboratory in the lowest floor of Genieworks. This is a collection of short stories, flash fiction, and contest entries, but only for stories that are darkly beautiful. Enjoy! Highest ranking #81 on 6 and 7 May, 2015!
