George witnessed the light flicker out of his eyes as he slowly faced towards the door. He grabbed his long, green jacket and swiftly moved to open the door. "Take care of yourself, I'll be home later." The door creaked open and George watched him step through the door frame. He didn't even look back at him. "Wait for a second, Clay-" The sound of the door slamming was enough to break George's train of thought.
