After the 50th Hunger Games, Haymitch Abernathy falls into a spiral of binge drinking and despair, until he gains an unexpected companion and makes it his life's goal to keep her alive.

Its that time of year again except this years a little different. Its time for the Quarter Quell, and twice the amount of tributes are going to be in the arena. Haymitch Abernathy from District 12 is one of the "Lucky" ones and has been chosen for the event. Up against 11 other districts and 3 tributes from his own. Who will come out on top?
