It's 2023, and Freya has been living in Los Angeles for three years, just a short distance from Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael - people who have drifted in and out of her life for as long as she can remember. | we get so disconnected | y/n idolised 5sos in her teens; her and her best friend surrounded themselves in the fandom, concerts and music. on y/n's eighteenth birthday in 2017 her and her best friend cut ties and went their separate ways. it hurt y/n, and so she cut all that they shared; including 5sos and their music. almost ten years later, it's 2025 and y/n finds herself diving back into the music she loved, the music that got her through tough times; the 5sos she loved. time heals a lot and she found she no longer fell into the feeling of loss and sadness when she listened to them again, she was healing. part of that healing process was travelling, meeting people and forming new connections. along the way she met Ashley, a guy who showed her what true friendship is, and he works in a recording studio in LA. With his position and connections, he gets her a steady job in the place; and that is where she meets her favourite drummer boy, ashton irwin from 5 seconds of summer.
