Fundy is messaged by Phil for a family meeting. He doesn't remember being part of the family again but it must be important if Phil is asking for him. He meets everyone at Techno's cabin only to find out his uncle is dying. No one in his family has any clue how to cure this almost unknown disease, the only known thing is that it causes permadeath. In a last effort to maybe save his Uncle, Fundy calls a few friends for help. Now he can only hope that they find a way to make it in time with a cure while Fundy plays family with, well his family. 5up and Fundy are two strangers who got put into one team, having to fight and work together just to survive in a world full of other team's that are their enemies who also just have the same goal, and weird-looking monsters who are everywhere around the world distributed into little groups and who try to kill everyone who is at least part human, or rather they have to win the game by killing everything and everyone just to get out of that stupid world. There's no other way to escape the world, if they want to live, they have to work together as a team, if they won't work together, they will probably die and won't be able to see their old-world ever again, that's how simple it is. "Kill or be killed" That's what they got told before the whole disaster and chaos started becoming their reality, before they got forcefully abandoned into the wilderness with nothing but a backpack filled with an empty water bottle, a torch and some medicine. Each of them also had one weapon which they didn't know how to use and each of them were wearing armor which durability was very low. Huge conflict between Fundy and 5up, not even their third teammate Sleepy, can stop them from fighting and he can't believe their team was already falling apart. Fundy tries to find a different way of getting out, even though the leader of the game made it clear that there was not an exit button. He thinks there's no way someone would kidnap him to kill other people, who also just have the same goal as him and he doesn't want to hurt others for no reason, or in that case a very egoistic reason. 5up knows there is no other way of surviving and getting back into the life they had before that all. He tries convincing Fundy that this is their life now, that they were "programmed" to do this and that they have to play the game if they ever want to get back to their old life, but not successful. If they continue fighting like that, how high is the chance of them getting out in the end?

Fundy and 5up go to a party together and end up kissing. After this night nobody really knows whats going on between them. Neither do fundy and 5up themselves

The concept of soulmates was always an annoying thing to grasp for Toby, Alex, and Clay. For starters, Toby has always believed that soulmates have to be romantic. Why is his soulmate photo telling him otherwise? Alex had just gotten out of a half-hearted relationship. This is about their characters!!!!!!! I am not at ALL shipping irl people,,, I will also take this down if they ever say they are uncomfy with what I have written (or that type of stuff). Kind of a slowburn romance between Fundy and 5up, this is purely fluff there will be absolutely no smut. Any requests for it to be added or hinted to will be denied. It briefly crosses from the Dream Smp to Cogchamp but will remain in Cogchamp for the remainder of the story. I don't know how long this will end up being, I'll be posting it onto Ao3 also whenever I make a new account. !!Minor characters (Ranboo and Tubbo) will be mentioned but not the main focus! If it makes them uncomfortable that they are included in the fanfic I will remove it from all platforms it is posted on.
