Shadedpeak is just a young boy, 19 years. He didn't ask to become world champion. He didn't want his life to come crashing down. But the expectations are growing; and he finds himself questioning why he lost so many matches. Then he discovered the leagues. Stormleague, to be exact. His one chance to get out of this - but there'll have to be sacrifices. Jaysight has just had a large victory. But there are voices in his head that tell him to try harder. That the losses are greater than the title of world cup winner. In search of a way to silence them, he joins Gustleague. Ivorynight finds himself rising up in the ranks of chess. But he lives in hopes that when his few losses go away, so will the mysterious dream that has been plaguing him. That's when he joins Hourglassleague. Azureflame has had her fair share of victories. But her detective side has detected the odd occurrences in Chess. Specifically the death of Dawnnose. In search answers, she joins Blazeleague. Twilightwhisper has been in Hourglassleague since she can remember. And now, with a new recruit within their ranks, she hopes to be able to find some answers to this faction's mystique. Riverheart has been in Oceanleague for quite a while. Enough to know that things are changing. And her destiny is calling. The black cat came to all of them. And it came... with a message. Together, these recruits will uncover dark secrets... some of which may have best been left hidden.

After a long, exhausting adventure, after saving the Mushroom Kingdom and the world once again, Mario was about to relax at home, when something unexpected happened: for the first time, the princess - who is also one of his best friend - invited him to spend the day at the castle! It is an honour that cannot be refused. However, when he got to the castle, it was nothing like he expected. The castle was empty, the atmosphere was strange, as if a threatening aura was surrounding it, which made Mario uncomfortable. But on top of that, the princess was nowhere to be found. What happened in there? Mario did not know it yet, but it would be one of the craziest adventures he had ever been through. Author's note: -This is a fan adaptation. While the main story is kept the same, some parts of canon have been changed a little to make it more interesting. -I'm not from an English-speaking country, and my English skills are not 100% perfect.
