What if the rule change they announced during the 74th Hunger Games was a legitimate rule change? Two tributes can be crowned victors if they are the last ones standing and are from the same district. Katniss and Peeta won. No problem. The next year, the 75th Hunger Games and third Quarter Quell is announced. No rebellious berry incident means the tributes will not be reaped from the remaining pool of victors. Instead, it will be the brightest and dullest children from each district. Tributes will be chosen by a test, not a test created by GameMakers, but a real, school examination. *********************** Thanks for reading! I always value and appreciate input from readers. If you have any thoughts or ideas to share, I'd love to hear them. Signed, harperloo *I do not own a lot of these characters. (Most of) These characters and concepts belong to Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games trilogy.*

Sometimes in order to hold on to your humanity, you have to steal something, maybe that something is a necklace or a weapon, but for Vee, it's a photo. But the photo is not her's, it came from a house she had never been in and this picture contained people she had never met. The world is dying, a deadly plague has swept across the planet wiping out 75% of the human population, Vee is one of the lucky ones. With so many gone and dead Vee begins to find herself falling into a pit of madness, her life no longer has meaning; every day she does the same routine not understanding why she is doing it. One day when Vee finds herself standing on the edge she decides she must do something to give her life meaning, but will this task just give her that last push to fall? Or will it bring back the humanity she has been desperately trying to hold onto?
