"This will be the last time I let any of the Shortman's walk in this jungle," said La Sombra, cackling madly. He whipped out a gun and pointed it directly at the restrained Arnold Shortman. "Starting with you."... Yo fears! I love Hey Arnold almost more than I love toast and the second movie was never made. All you 90's kids out there, I got you. I've been a fan of this show since I was 9! 'Bout time I write a hopefully good fanfiction. I'm gonna give you the actual description now. Arnold P. Shortman. A very well known kid. He's helped others with their problems, starred as Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet", heck, he even saved the neighborhood. All this accomplished, yet, deep down, he isn't satisfied. He's been missing something-no, someone. Two people. His parents. So what do you say? Join our beloved football head on this journey to solve the greatest mystery in his life, watch as he goes through the troubles of adventure, and be there to see...will he find happiness.

It's been six years since we left the gang. Arnold and everybody else graduated from P.S. 118 and moved up to middle school at P.S. 120. When Arnold was in 7th grade, his grandmother, Pokie had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and ended up in a nursing home. Arnold's grandpa was afraid that him and Arnold's grandmother wouldn't be able to take care of him so he sent Arnold to Maryland- his grandpa had family there. Gerald and Arnold promised they would stay friends and surprisingly they did. They talked nearly every single day. When 8th grade began and Arnold wasn't there, he felt like he had been because of Gerald, but everybody felt his absence. Especially Helga. As the years passed, Helga's creepy obsessive love for Arnold dwindled into a more appropriate sweet puppy love. Just before Arnold left, they had even been on the road to becoming friends. After he left he left Helga was heartbroken. Arnold was her first love after all. But as time went on she accepted that Arnold was a part of her childhood and that she shouldn't wait for him forever. Helga never thought forever would come as soo as her sophomore year in high school at P.S. 121.

Welcome to the 90's on the west coast. Tupac had been murdered. Mad dog 20-20 was the drink of choice. Black lipstick was as common as pocket pistols, and being from the wrong side of town was a cardinal sin. We were the super predators of the end of the millennia, growing into the young men and women who push the nation into unprecedented violence in our search for meaning.
