Fi Qalbi: And You Always Knew
A collection of 99 poems written in silence, held in prayer.
This is not the story of love spoken aloud.
There were no long calls, no messages waiting to be read.
We did not speak - not the way others do.
We saw.
We understood.
We passed meaning through moments that barely lasted seconds.
We spoke with our eyes,
and in those unspoken glances
lived entire conversations the world would never hear.
It was never rushed, never confessed.
It stayed untouched by the noise of this world.
It remained pure. Modest. Halal.
I didn't fall for her beauty.
I fell for her silence that never needed to be loud,
for her modesty that walked before her,
for the peace she carried without trying.
She never had to say she cared.
She knew I loved her,
and I knew she had felt something too.
This book is everything I kept in
all the words I never sent,
all the moments I wrote down instead of saying.
Fi Qalbi.
You were always there.
