hi if this story sounds familiar than it is. this is a rewrite of my original the ultimate liar fanfic. I just got really back into danganronpa and wanted to write about Eris again (she's my favourite oc) I know I don't have to rewrite it and could just edit the original but I wanted to add stuff i hadn't written in the original story. This is a continuation of a short story I started in one of my other books that was called 'Summer Break' where Kokichi and Shuichi are best friends and have been since they were young, but after coming back from break Kokichi catches feelings and doesn't know what to do about them. If the other reacts the wrong way it could destroy their already fragile friendship. There is no killing game. I'm still not sure if this one will be a fluff or a smut, so I'll put a warning if I end up writing the latter. Does contain some cursing. And my writing is still kinda bad 'cause this is only like my third book, so constructive criticism, suggestions, requests, all that stuff is allowed. Also, I'll try to update as often as I can, but I don't have a set schedule, so it could be a while.

This is an AU I made for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony where the people who died in the 53rd killing game wake up in a hospital bed outside of the game (and have all their memories from inside the game). The story starts off with Kaede living her life after the game. She is fighting a battle with depression and PTSD. But one day, she spots who she thinks is Shuichi in a crowd of people, and everything in her world changes. Once they reunite, they work together to try and find the rest of the students from the killing game- while dealing with their own demons. (I do not own anything or any of the characters except for this AU and the extras I put in the story, please don't come after me!!!) Warning! If you don't ship SaiMatsu or don't like SaiMatsu, you probably don't want to read this; I'm trying to avoid hate for my ships.
