But, a certain boy called Shuichi Saihara gets their attention, and they become friends. But, one day, something terrible happens to Shuichi. What even happened..?

Himiko and Tenko are going to college together with two other roommates, they start figuring out there feelings for each other but that's not all. A friend of there's is going through constant struggles and possible depression, and to be there for them that distances them. Will they put there love for each other first, or put there friend first. Or find a way to make both happen?

Kiibo was always alone for some reason. This worried Shuichi quite a bit. Yet, after they run into eachother, one day alone will bring them closer than ever. These feelings confused Kiibo. Were they even feelings? He normally didn't feel things... Until he got closer to Saihara. He just pushed these feelings away, begging them to go away. He tried everything to make them go. It was like a bug in his system. Saihara had somehow involuntarily installed a bug in Kiibo that made his circuits fizz whenever he saw Saihara's smile, made his wires cross when he complimented him, and short circuit at every little thing the boy did. The boy had made Kiibo human.

"And they were roommates." "Oh my god they were roommates." When the survivors of the 53rd season of Danganronpa wake up to find that the game was all virtual reality, and that all of their friends are still alive, they all face many different challenges. For Shuichi Saihara, most of these challenges involve a certain Kokichi Ouma, who he finds lounging on the couch in the apartment they shared together before the game. Turns out their past selves were childhood friends who eventually fell in love and had been in a rather serious relationship before joining the game. Will Kokichi's lingering crush on the detective and their slowly returning memories of the past become the downfall of their newfound friendship, or will it spark something more? This fic was heavily inspired by the fic "Second Chances" on AO3 by Lethargic_Lilac. It's a really good read and I highly recommend it. I hope you'll all enjoy my own personal take on the idea.
