What if when Harry's parents died on that old Halloween's eve, he died with them? What if Dumbledore already knew the need for Harry to live? What if Dumbledore did something he shouldn't have, in order to save the magical world when the time was right? Harry James Potter lived in a house afraid, hidden due to the decaying skin and smell of death that surrounded him. Slowly, his mind broke and set to one of a child, he found the small bits of pain that came to him interesting, against his numb body and loved to see how far he could go. A broken child and his broken body soon to arrive at Hogwarts gates. I do not own Harry Potter or the characters.

What if Hagrid hadn't warned Harry off of Slytherin? What if he hadn't met Draco Malfoy in Madam Malkin's? What if he was sorted into the house of snakes? Even before the boy with the lightning-shaped scar entered the Dursley household, there were problems deeper than the eyes could see, and Dudley Dursley was stuck in there too. I'll add more to the description as it comes along, I guess. As of right now, there is no updating schedule, I update when I write, I write when I feel like it. There are dark themes but I'm not planning on adding graphic violence of any sort. I'm thinking more along the lines of manipulation, gaslighting, maybe a tiny bit of physical stuff but it won't be described, more mentioned in passing if I add it.
