(This is lowkey based off Gen Z) For hundreds of years the rulers of what used to be The United States Of America, have dictated us and taken away the rights we once had. They've destroyed the other countries and taken over. Gen Z had tried to stop them back then and now they're all gone. There is nobody to stop them, but nobody wants to, they've all forgotten. That is until now. 16 year old Kalen has started to wake up from his daze the Rulers have had him and the rest of the world under, when he discovers books from 2020, books former generations who tried to break free wrote, as he read more about this generation, called Gen Z, the more knew he had to shake everyone out of it before it gets worse then it has. He only has one book is the problem, and that means the rest are out there, these books might be his only savior, and the people that he meets along the way. 15 year old Akshay. He's always known something was off about the system, and about him, but he never questioned, as he was a kid and he never knew different. He didn't feel attracted to girls, but everyone was right? so he had to be, he just hadn't found the right one. Then he finds a book, the cover title had a big Z with a long line through the middle, and a little 2 at the top, he's confused but he feels as if he NEEDS to find book 1, reading it along the way he discovers loads of secrets, old laws, and shocking things about the lost generation, who may not be so lost. The world isn't great. Racism Homophobia- in all forms Transphobia Sexism They all exist despite everything and so we have to fight for rights and freedom. I am a pansexual female, ally to the entire lgbtq+ community, and hate that racism is still affecting and killing so many. So while being unable to go to do much else: I know I can research and educate. So this pride month let us learn and hopefully someone who does have the resources, or can donate, will. We should stay strong. Together while apart.
