Here's the thing about our generation:
We're never alone. But we're rarely understood.
Office life gave us everything - paychecks, titles, weekend plans, group photos that screamed "we made it."We were Gen Z professionals - LinkedIn polished, Instagram-loud, emotionally confused. Our office ran on deadlines, caffeine, and group chats that never meant what they looked like. The louder someone laughed, the more people assumed they were loved. The more social you were, the more "sorted" you appeared.
That's what I thought. That's the illusion.
In our office, Mitra was impossible to ignore. She didn't follow trends. She didn't try to impress. She didn't soften herself to be liked. And yet, everyone noticed her - Including me
From the outside, we all looked connected - ambitious Gen Z professionals navigating promotions, pressure, and family expectations. But underneath the noise, most of us had only one or two people we could truly lean on.
It's about Gen Z in the workforce - ambitious, restless, visible - discovering that depth doesn't come from numbers. It comes from the few who stay when the room empties.
