Skylar Lancaster could be just your regular orphan except she's been one practically her whole life. I would certainly enjoy getting feedback from readers. For the purpose of this fiction there is no mention of the spouses and children of the cast. This story focuses on Castiel and Dean's relationship after Castiel's return from the Empty. They both have feelings for each other but are both struggling to admit it. This story also deals with mental health awareness and Jared's AKF campaign, particularly in regards to anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As someone who has struggled with these issues for over 15 years I wanted to give them a voice and I hope I do them justice. There will be talk about suicidal thoughts and tendencies, child abuse, anorexia, self loathing and emotional abuse. This story is a true story and may trigger some people. This story while covering some dark days of my past, is intended to be a story about overcoming personal demons and finding a reason to fight and believe in myself.
